The Waxit Candle factory is located in the gorgeous and picturesque fishing town of St Helena Bay, on the western coast of South Africa. Waxit uses traditional hand-crafted production techniques to create a diverse range of high quality, slow burning, drip less scented candles in wonderfully unique designs. Each candle is adorned with hand-beaded or flower designs. Waxit is fair trade accredited and is committed to gender equality. Furthermore 70% of Waxit’s work force consists of previously disadvantaged women. |
