Tea tree oil from Australia is an effective antiseptic, antibacterial agent and fungicide. It is also used as a stimulant. Applying tea tree oil to insect bites, cuts or other wounds provides relief and fights harmful microorganisms. It can also be used to treat burns and boils.
Uses: Apply tea tree oil undiluted to the skin, but only in small amounts, to treat abrasions and cuts. Use a steam inhaler or an oil burner to derive stimulant benefits. Add it to your bath or apply as a massage oil or cream to soothe and stimulate your skin.
Cautionary Note: Do not use tea tree oil during pregnancy and do not ingest it.
