For thousands of years botanical plants and trees have been used as a source of food, medicine and natural skin care. With an abundance of botanical plants in all parts of the world, Southern Africa stands tall, with its vast floral kingdoms and rich harvest of diverse botanical plant life.

Amidst spectacular beauty, nature created a harsh environment on the African continent - the rugged terrain, the often searing heat -  but so too, nature magically offers a treasure of natural resources to thrive in these conditions. Amongst the bounty comes a vast array of oils and herbs from plants and trees to care for the body and skin. JD Botanics uses this treasure of botanical plants to provide a vegan friendly skin care range.

Growing up in Southern Africa we had the privilege of being surrounded by this abundance of treasure from a plant kingdom in our backyard. But it wasn’t until recently  - two grown up children later and a devastating pandemic  - that we realized the need of an affordable skin care range that provides all the benefits of these wonderful botanics.
